Adobe Brings Firefly AI Video Generator To More People With New Prices: Know More – News18

Adobe Firefly AI video tool has improved in recent times and the company is now comfortable to make it available for all users.

Adobe has immediately made its primary AI video generation tool Firefly available to all users. The FireFly video model has been made available to the public in beta form this week. The Firefly video model, which Adobe claims is the first “commercially safe” AI video generator in the industry, is available via the Generative Extend (beta) in Adobe Premiere Pro and the Generate Video (beta) option on the Firefly web app.

This is Adobe’s most recent offering as part of its Firefly portfolio of AI services, which also includes Firefly Vector Model, which generates vector graphics in response to text prompts, and Firefly Image 2, which generates images. According to the company, Firefly AI models have been used by consumers worldwide to create over 18 billion assets.

“The Firefly Video Model generates IP-friendly video content that can be used in production today. It empowers creative professionals with tools to generate video clips from a text prompt or image, use camera angles to control shots, create professional quality images from 3D sketches, craft atmospheric elements, and develop custom motion design elements,” Adobe said in a press release.

Meanwhile, videos of a 1080p resolution can be generated using the Firefly video model. According to Adobe, it is also developing a 4K AI model for high-end production work and a lower-resolution ideation model for rapid iteration.

Users expressed concern in 2024 that Adobe would train its AI models using their data and creative works. The backlash started when the company changed its terms of service to include permissions for it to access, view, or listen to user content “through both automated and manual methods” and to hold licenses “to use, reproduce, publicly display, distribute, modify, create derivative works based on, publicly perform, and translate the Content.”

According to Adobe, videos produced with the Firefly Video Model will have Content Credentials. To challenge disinformation, the company has been leading the Coalition for material Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA) initiative, which seeks to create a standard for watermarking AI-generated material throughout the industry. The C2PA initiative also includes Microsoft, Google, and OpenAI. Additionally, Adobe’s Content Authenticity web app’s Inspect feature allows users to confirm whether the content is artificial intelligence (AI) created.
