All arrangements have been made for the three-day ‘Shatha Chandi Maharudra Sahasra Ghatabisheka Kumbabisheka Mahotsavams’ to be held at the historic Sri Kaleshwara Sri Mukteshwara Swamy temple in Kaleshwaram of Jayashankar Bhupalpally district from February 7 to 9.
According to a press release on Thursday, the mega religious event featuring ‘Maha Rudrabishekam’, ‘Chandi Homam’, ‘Chandi Parayanam’ and a host of other special rituals and devotional programmes will be held on the banks of the Godavari river, bordering Maharashtra.
On the concluding day, ‘Maha Kumbabishekam’ will be held at 10.42 a.m. followed by ‘Maha Annadhanam’ on Sunday (February 9).
The event is being held in Kaleshwaram after a gap of nearly 42 years.
