Apple TV has been available to iOS and macOS users for years and now Android devices can also try out the service.

Apple has finally launched the Apple TV+ app for Android users across the globe this week. The company has been working on the platform for a few years and it has even hired engineers to build the app last year and now the public release has been confirmed.
The app is available on the Play Store and will allow the company to increase its reach and user base with this launch. Apple is going to have a busy few weeks with the launch of the iPhone SE 4, iOS 18.4 beta and the M4 MacBook Air expected this month. The Apple TV+ availability on Android is another big tick on the company’s check box.
Apple TV+ For Android
The Android version of Apple TV+ allows you to subscribe to the service via the Play Store payment model using their Google account which was not possible till date.
– Go to Play Store on Android phone/tablet
– Search for Apple TV app and install
– Open the Apple TV app and sign in using your Apple ID
– Avail the 7-day free trial offer for the service
The Apple TV App serves as a hub for entertaining content, including Apple TV+ exclusive shows, movies and documentaries. It stands as a healthy competitor to other streaming giants like Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime.
In India, a one-month subscription for Apple TV+ will cost you around Rs 99. Also, the company offers a special 7-day trial period for its subscribers to test its services. For the new buyers of Apple devices like an iPhone, iPad or Mac, the tech giant gives a three-month Apple TV+ subscription for free.
Apple TV+ allows users to share their subscription with up to five family members. At present, the Apple TV+ is available on Amazon Fire Stick, PlayStation, Xbox, XInfinity, Google TV, Samsung Smart TV, LG Smart TV, Roku and more. Users can also watch the exclusive Apple TV+ content on the desktop site at tv.apple.com/in.
Apple launched its Music App exclusively for iOS users, but it was made available for Android users around the same time.
