Asus has launched its new Zenfone Ultra model this month which gets a gimbal-like camera and battery with wireless charging support.

Asus has globally unveiled the Zenfone 12 Ultra model which is the latest flagship device from the company. The phone sports an AMOLED screen and powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It features a triple camera system and a large-sized battery that supports wireless charging speed. You are also getting AI functions and a gimbal-like stabiliser for the primary camera.
Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra: Know All About It
The Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra comes with a 6.78-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED LTPO full-HD+ display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU gets paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS4.0 storage.
The Zenfone 12 Ultra features a triple back camera system which gets a 50MP Sony Lytia 700 1/1.56-inch sensor with gimbal OIS at the top, followed by a 13MP super wide-angle lens with a 120-degree field of view and a 32MP sensor with 3x optical zoom. It features an RGBW 32MP camera on the front.
Among its many AI-based camera functions are AI Night Vision, AI Object Sense, AI HyperClarity, AI Portrait Vide, and 6-Axis Hybrid Gimbal Stabiliser. Better videos can be taken by users with the Gimbal stabilising tool. AI Call Translator, AI Transcript, and AI Wallpaper are more AI features.
With a 5,500mAh battery, the Zenfone 12 Ultra supports both 15W wireless charging under the Qi standard and 65W wired charging speed. The Ultra device gets IP68 rating, weighs 220 grams and comes under 9mm in thickness.
The Zenfone 12 Ultra is available in three different colours and the phone costs NT$29,990 (Rs 80,000 approx) for the 12GB + 256GB model and NT$31,990 (Rs 85,300 approx) for the 16GB + 512GB model. It is unlikely that Asus will bring the new Zenfone Ultra phone to the Indian market anytime soon.
