Ravi Kishan expressed his support for Chum Darang, praising her as one of the strongest contestants this season.

Bigg Boss 18, the Salman Khan-hosted reality show, continues to capture the attention of both viewers and celebrities. Recently, actor-politician Ravi Kishan expressed his support for Chum Darang, praising her as one of the strongest contestants this season.

Talking to ETimesTV, Kishan said, “Bahut saare underdogs hai jo finale tak jaa sakte hai. Chum can also surprise. Chum ka ek strong stand bhi hai. Ek North-East ki ladki hai aur uska strong nature bahar aa raha hai (There are several underdogs who can go to the finale. Chum can also surprise. She is strong. She belongs to the North-East and has a strong mindset.)”

Recently, during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Dangal actress Sanya Malhotra, who arrived as a special guest along with singer Sunidhi Chauhan also voiced her support for the Badhaai Do actress. Also, TV actress Kishwer Merchant, who was a part of Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 9, shared that her favourite contestant among all the BB18 housemates is Chum. Taking to X she wrote, “My Favourite: Chum.”

Chum shares a close bond with co-participants Karan Veer Mehra and Shilpa Shirodkar. Recently, Bigg Boss OTT 2 fame Abhishek Malhan aka Fukraa Insaan, during a chat with ETimes, expressed his love for Karan and Chum and gave them the tag ‘ChumVeer’. He shared that the duo’s friendship bond inside the BB18 house reminded him of his own experiences during Bigg Boss OTT. “The show is more than just fights and tasks, it’s also about developing bonds. Seeing ChumVeer’s friendship bloom has been pleasant,” he stated.

Despite the strong competition and group dynamics, Karan and Chum’s relationship stood out, with fans appreciating their fun banters, mutual support and loyalty towards each other.

Chum is an Indian model and actress. She made her acting debut with the web series Pataal Lok co-starring Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhishek Banerjee, Ishwak Singh, Gul Panag and Neeraj Kabi in lead roles. The show premiered on Amazon Prime Video.

She made her big screen debut with the comedy-drama film Badhaai Do which also starred RajKummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles.
