Digvijay Singh Rathee recently had the opportunity to meet Bollywood actor Sonu Sood. The two met inside the theatre, and the ex-Splitsvilla contestant warmly greeted the Dabangg actor. For the event, the two exuded gentlemanly vibes in tuxedos. While Digvijay wore an all-black tux, the Fateh actor paired his black coat and pants with a crisp white shirt and black tie.
In a video shared by Pinkvilla on Instagram, Digivijay and Sonu were engaging in a brief conversation inside a theatre premises. The Bollywood actor-producer asked the ex-Bigg Boss contestant if he had watched his recently released film, Fateh. In response to this, Digvijay was seen describing a particular scene to Sonu. The latter then asked him to finish watching his film. After their brief chat, the two even posed together, thus sharing a moment of camaraderie.
For those who don’t know, Digvijay Rathee has a cameo role in Sonu Sood’s Fateh. While the ex-Splitsvilla contestant has not shot any scene for the film, Sonu has used a particular clip from Digvijay’s reality show. Released in theatres on January 10, the action thriller follows the life of an ex-special ops officer who leaves his chaotic life behind and tries to start a tranquil life in Punjab. Just then, a series of events forces him to come out and fight the cybercrime mafia. Fateh features Naseeruddin Shah, Jacqueliene Fernandez, Vijay Raaz and Dibyendu Bhattacharya, alongside Sonu, who portrays the titular character.
On January 5, the reality TV star shared a video on his Instagram account, which featured a surprising appearance of Sonu. In the clip, the two had a brief interaction. After which, Digvijay delivered a dialogue from Fateh, “Kirdaar imandaar rakhna, janaza shandaar niklega.” He captioned the post, “Only positive vibes around Sonu sir. Fateh releasing this Friday.”
Speaking of Digvijay Singh Rathee’s professional front, he was most recently seen in the reality TV show Bigg Boss 18. He entered the Salman Khan-hosted show as a wildcard contestant and was evicted last month. During his time on the show, he often locked horns with contestants like Avinash Mishra, Vivian Dsena and Kashish Kapoor.
Although his stint in the show was short-lived, it was memorable. His sudden elimination from the show left his fans disappointed and became a much-discussed topic on social media, with some even alleging that the makers were partial to him.
