The competition within the Bigg Boss 18 house has reached a fever pitch as the countdown to the grand finale has commenced. The tension is palpable among the remaining six contestants—Chum Darang, Vivian Dsena, Avinash Mishra, Rajat Dalal, Eisha Singh, and Karan Veer Mehra—who are waiting to lift up the winner’s trophy. Now, just a few days before the Grand Finale, contestant Chahat Pandey, who got evicted from the BB 18 house earlier this week, sat for an interview with Times Of India TV.

While speaking to the media outlet, the Bigg Boss fame spoke about her experience in the Salman Khan-hosted show, her views about who doesn’t deserve to be in the grand finale, and her views regarding her co-contestants Eisha Singh and Avinash Mishra.

Chahat Pandey expressed that Eisha Singh doesn’t deserve a place in the finale because her success in the show was heavily dependent on his support rather than her individual gameplay.

“Eisha made it to the finale by simply holding Avinash’s hand. Many people told me that I deserved to reach the finale, but I am not sure if it’s about others’ luck or their strategy of clinging to someone to secure a spot in the finals. Some contestants have made it to the finale purely because of the support they received from others, while I’m proud that I played solo and made it to the 14th week,” she stated.

She went on to say, “Anyone can move ahead with support. Eisha toh Avinash ki ungli pakad ke finale tak pahuch gayi hai. Agar Avinash nahi hota toh Eisha ka koi wajood nahi hota. (Eisha, for instance, reached the finale by holding onto Avinash’s hand. Without him, Eisha wouldn’t have had any standing in the house). She is entirely dependent on his support; they’re like a package deal. If Avinash hadn’t been there, Eisha would have been eliminated by the second or third week. She was not deserving to reach the finale.”

Chahat Pandey was added that she was surprise to see why Eisha and Avinash were not called out for their remarks. “Now that I’m out, I have come to realise how much Avinash, Eisha, and Alice spoke about me behind my back, and surprisingly, these things were never brought up during Weekend Ka Vaar. I am not sure why it wasn’t addressed. If it had been discussed, they might have reflected on their behaviour and corrected themselves.”

The actress added, “Since they weren’t called out, they felt free to continue saying or doing whatever they wanted, believing there were no consequences. I feel they should have been stopped, but eventually, it’s the makers’ decision.”

She also expressed that by making negative remarks and speaking ill about her, Avinash revealed his true personality. People could see how he talked about me behind my back, revealing his real character as someone who belittles a woman on national television. He should’ve thought about how he wanted to be seen. He wanted to appear fake trying to be friendly to me in person while speaking about me behind my back.
