Charles Cavey has busked in a Cambridge litter bin for 25 years

Charles Cavey, better to known to locals as The Singing Binman, has been performing on one of Cambridge’s busiest streets for over 25 years.

He first got the idea while working for a punting company.

Seeing a bin being emptied in a lorry, he thought to himself “I can fit in there”.

He subsequently sourced and converted his own bin to perform in and has since auditioned on Britain’s Got Talent, been requested for weddings and even featured on Tyson Fury’s Instagram.
