Television actress Dipika Kakar, who became a household name after her stint as Simar in Sasural Simar Ka, recently made a comeback in the television world. After being off the screens for four years, the actress is now gracing the screens as a contestant in the reality show Celebrity MasterChef India. Having said that, fans were treated to another glimpse of Dipika Kakar as she stepped out from the sets of the culinary show. She was captured by paparazzi, and a video of the same has now surfaced on social media.

In the latest promo of Celebrity MasterChef India, actress Dipika Kakar prepares a beautifully crafted Crème Brûlée Tart. As Brar and Khanna taste the dish, Khanna gestures that she has nailed it and exclaims, “Katal.” Overwhelmed by the judges’ praise, Dipika got emotional, prompting Farah Khan to ask, “Dipika, ro kyun rahe ho itna? (Dipika, why are you crying so much?)”
To which Dipika exclaimed, “Mein aaj unhe represent karti ho jinhe ye bolke dabaya jata hain, ‘Arrey, kitchen mein toh khana hi banani hain.’ Haan, hu meiin home cook. (Today, I represent those women who are suppressed by taunts like, ‘You only have to cook in the kitchen.’ Yes, I am a home cook).”
Talking about Celebrity MasterChef India season 9, the show boasts some of the well-known television personalities. Besides Dipika Kakar Ibrahim, actor Gaurav Khanna, Rajiv Adatia, Tejasswi Prakash, Archana Gautam, Usha Nadkarni, Nikki Tamboli, Faisal Shaikh, aka Mr Faisu, and Chandan Prabhakar have joined as contestants of the cooking reality show.
Taking the competition to new heights, the show is being hosted and judged by Farah Khan. Other judges in the culinary competition are renowned chefs Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar.
