Google launched the Pixel Tablet with Android version and now it plans to make a powerful Tablet 2 version.

Google is making another Pixel tablet and we might see it come next year. There are rumours circulating about the possible launch of the Pixel Tablet 2. Reports suggest the second-generation tablet may come with enhanced features, including keyboard compatibility.

It is also speculated that Google will upgrade the chipset for better performance and introduce a new camera. As for the design, it is expected to be similar to the current model, maintaining its sleek and modern aesthetic.

Google Pixel Tablet 2 Expected Features

According to a report by Android Authority, the Pixel Tablet 2 is expected to come with an updated camera system, though details on whether the sensor will be larger or simply improved are not yet clear. The current Pixel Tablet features 8MP sensors on both the front and rear, so any changes to the camera would be an upgrade.

Additionally, Google is reportedly working on a prototype keyboard cover for the Pixel Tablet 2. The keyboard cover is said to attach to the tablet using back pogo pins, adding to its functionality. There were previous rumours about a stylus for the current version of the tablet, but it was never released. However, it’s possible that Google may introduce a stylus with the Pixel Tablet 2 to enhance the user experience.

The Google Pixel Tablet 2 is anticipated to be released in 2025, but no specific date has been set as of yet. It might come pre-installed on Android 15 or 16 depending on when it is released.

It was previously reported that a less powerful version of the Tensor G6 SoC would be included in the Google Pixel Tablet 3. The Tensor G4 or G5 chipset could be included in the Pixel Tablet 2 version.

The current Pixel Tablet comes with Android 13 out of the box, and features a 10.95-inch WQXGA screen. It is powered by a Tensor G2 processor and a Titan M2 security chip. Google did not bring the Pixel Tablet to the Indian market and we don’t see that change with the Pixel Tablet 2 version either.
