iPhone users have complained about their alarm not doing its job and we have heard this quite a few times with no fix sight.

The iPhone delays have become a frequent issue for the users.

iPhone users face bugs of varied kinds but one of the weirdest issues has been related to the alarm from the clock app for the devices, which is not a new thing at all. And the big alarm glitch has once again struck back with the start of the new year, which is making people go late to work.

These iPhone users faced the similar issue in early 2024, and found it hard to wake up on time, which became a genuine excuse to tell your boss, but one that he is unlikely to accept.

The new iPhone alarm issue seems to have started around January 22 and the biggest concern with the glitch is that Apple doesn’t seem to have a fix for it even after a few years of users’ complaints.

iPhone Alarm Issue Strikes Again

Most iPhone users will feel a case of Deja vu with this issue and it is hard to understand why the company, which is valued over a trillion dollars in the market, can’t fix it once and for all.

We have come across social forums like Reddit crowded with complaints about the iPhone alarm so it is clearly not an isolated issue. Apple is yet to figure out the root cause of this glitch but some users have claimed the attention awareness feature on iPhone seems to be the culprit.

This feature basically considers when the iPhone is being used with parameters like if the volume is kept low, or the screen brightness is not dimmed. iPhone users get this feature enabled by default but they have the option to turn it off by using these steps:

– Open Settings

– Click on Accessibility

– Tap on Face ID & Attention

– Disable the Attention-Aware Features toggle

In the other Apple news, the company is lining up the big iOS 18.3 public update for iPhone users this week, which will also have a slew of AI features wrapped in the version for the eligible iPhone models. Apple will also disable the controversial AI summary tool for news, which was making errors and fabricating news.
