Kalki Koechlin Talks About Her Experience With Polyamorous Relationships: ‘A Very Different Period In My Life…’ – News18

Actor Kalki Koechlin is one of the most prolific stars in the industry. In a recent interview, the actor opened up and spoke about her experience with polyamorous relationships. She emphasized how clear communication and mutual understanding are important factors in a relationship.

In a conversation with Hauterrfly, Kalki Koechlin revealed that she does not have time for polyamorous relationships at this point in her life. The actor reflected on her experience and stated how one needs to be specific about the rules and the boundaries when delving into a polyamorous relationship. She said, “Now that I am married and have a kid, I don’t think I got time for that sh*t, because you just don’t even have time to see your own partner. But I think that it has happened in the past, and again, I think you have to be very specific about your rules and boundaries.”

Koechlin revealed that she explored polyamorous relationships as “an experiment” and that she didn’t know if it would work out for her in the long run. Speaking about the boundaries, she said, “It means, perhaps it can’t be from your circle. I don’t think you can go as deep in a polyamorous relationship. Although I do know people who have managed to have a lifetime and have kids as well and do it. For me, it was a very different period in my life, I was much younger. I wasn’t interested in settling down, so it was okay. The idea was to be kind of each other’s main person but just also be like an experiment. I know people who have done but I don’t know if I would be able to be as invested in a long term.”

In the same interview, the actor confirmed that she has married her partner – Guy Hershberg. The couple had welcomed a daughter in 2020. Previously, she was married to director Anurag Kashyap and they parted ways in 2015.

On the work front, Koechlin was last seen in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. Her 2022 movie, Goldfish, was re-released recently.
