Russian Sneak Attacks Test Ukrainian Positions In Zaporizhzhya

RFE/RL visits the front lines in the Zaporizhzhya region where Ukrainian troops say they are fighting to defend their positions amid winter rain and fog. They say Russians wearing “anti-thermal cloaks” are attacking in small groups of 2-3 people who are trying to find gaps in the line. “A couple of days ago, two of them made it to our dugout,” said one Ukrainian soldier.
