Samsung launched the premium versions of the Galaxy S25 series in India but bringing the base model could make it appealing for buyers.

At the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event on January 22, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S25 series globally, including in India. The South Korean tech giant at the time only revealed the cost and availability of the base Galaxy S25’s 256GB and 512GB models. But according to a new report, the phone will also be cheaper and come with a 128GB storage option, making it more accessible to customers.

It says the Samsung Galaxy S25 128GB model would cost Rs 74,999 in India. Notably, last year the Galaxy S24 was released at the same price point with a comparable configuration. Pre-booking for the phone has not yet begun, but the report speculates that this specific configuration may eventually be offered for sale.

In addition, there are concerns regarding its availability. The official Samsung India website does not list the 128GB model of the phone. As a result, it might only be offered for sale via physical retail locations and other methods. In the meantime, the phone costs $799 (about Rs 69,100) in the US and other markets and comes with an identical setup.

When the Galaxy S25 was first released in India, it came with 256GB and 512GB of storage priced at Rs 80,999 and Rs 92,999, respectively.

Samsung Galaxy S25: Know More About It

The Samsung Galaxy S25 boasts a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X Full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,340 pixel) screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 2,600 nits. This smartphone has two SIM cards and is powered by One UI 7, which is based on Android 15. It has the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with up to 512GB of storage, and 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM.

There are three cameras on the back of the Galaxy S25: a 50-megapixel primary camera with two in-sensor zooms and optical image stabilisation (OIS); a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens with a 120-degree field of view; and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with three optical zooms and OIS. For video calls and selfies, it has a 12-megapixel front-facing camera. The 4,000mAh battery on the Galaxy S25 gets 25W charging speed.
