Sumona Chakravarti, who is popular for her appearance on the Kapil Sharma Show, recently checked off one of her bucket list items. She attended the Coldplay concert in Abu Dhabi and shared her experience with her fans and followers on Instagram. On Thursday, January 16, Sumona posted a series of pictures and an emotional note, reflecting on the “magical & overwhelming” experience of attending the event.
The Bade Acche Lagte Hain actress’ post began with a picture of her outside the venue, all excited for the concert. For the event, she opted for a denim-on-denim look comprising a jacket and jeans paired with a white tee. The following slides featured some glimpses of the Coldplay concert and the actress enjoying the moment to the fullest. Sumona concluded her post by adding a clip of the fireworks, which usually take place at the end of the concert.
In the caption, she wrote, “Magical & overwhelming it was #ColdplayAbuDhabi on a full moon night. It was a surreal experience. I cried soooo much. I’m getting goosebumps even now just thinking of it while I write this caption. What a brilliant start to 2025. So grateful for this experience.”
She continued her caption while referencing the band’s lyrics, “Lights will guide you home. And ignite your bones. And I will try to fix you @coldplay,” followed by a rainbow, red heart, infinity and hand heart emojis. Her post immediately got many compliments from her fans, who loved and thoroughly enjoyed Sumona’s candid moments at the concert in Abu Dhabi.
Coldplay is set to perform in Mumbai’s D Y Patil Sports Stadium on January 18, 19 and 20, whereas they will be performing in Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26.
Before travelling to Abu Dhabi for the Coldplay concert, Sumona jetted off to the seaside with her friends. She shared a set of pictures from the trip, having fun at the beach, gazing at the stars, having a scrumptious thali and enjoying beautiful sunsets. At the end of the carousel, Sumona could be seen having a drink with her friends by the poolside. She dropped the post without any caption.
Speaking of Sumona’s work front, the 36-year-old actress made her debut in showbiz as a child artist in 1999. She was last seen in the 14th season of the stunt-based reality TV show Khatron Ke Khiladi. While she secured the 7th position in the show, actor Karan Veer Mehra emerged as the winner, thus taking the trophy to his home.
