K.M. Ibrahim, the senior-most news agent of The Hindu Group of Publications in Kerala, was honoured on Thursday for his decades-long association and dedicated service to the newspaper.
Turning 90 this month, Mr. Ibrahim has been distributing newspapers since 1953 and became an authorised agent of The Hindu in 1966, serving the Mundakayam region for nearly six decades. He officially retired from the role on January 31, 2025.
As a token of appreciation, a memento and a ceremonial shawl (Ponnada) were presented to him by Suresh Kumar Pillai, General Manager and Head of Circulation, The Hindu (Kerala).
Expressing his gratitude, Mr. Ibrahim thanked The Hindu Group for its support and recognition
