The 24-year-old Thrissur-born player has made 81 appearances for the KBFC during his tenure with the Tuskers between 2019 and 2025 and has managed to find the net nine times for the Manjapadda.

Indian Super League sides Kerala Blasters FC and Odisha FC agreed on a transfer of Indian winger Rahul KP from the Kochi-based side to the Bhubaneswar outfit on Monday.

The 24-year-old Thrissur-born player has made 81 appearances for the KBFC during his tenure with the Tuskers between 2019 and 2025 and has managed to find the net nine times for the Manjapadda.

KBFC took to social media platform X, formerly Twitter, to confirm the transfer of the player to the Kalinga Warriors.

“An agreement has been reached between Kerala Blasters FC and Odisha FC on the permanent transfer of Rahul KP,” KBFC said in a post on their social media account.

“All of us at Kerala Blasters FC would like to thank Rahul for his contributions and for all the memories. We wish Rahul nothing but the best for his future,” the post added.

Ahead of his time with his beloved KBFC, Rahul was part of the I-League side Indian Arrows, for who he made 37 appearances and found the back of the net five times.

Rahul has represented the Indian National Football Team on seven occasions since his debut for the senior side in 2022.

Odisha stand sixth in the ISL league table with 20 points from their 14 outings this campaign so far. Kerala, on the other hand, are placed ninth in the standings with 17 points from 15 games this season.
