Prashant Kishor has been protesting at Gandhi Maidan in Patna, seeking cancellation of BPSC exam held in the state last year. He was detained on Monday morning.

Jan Suraaj Party chief Prashant Kishor, who has been on an indefinite hunger strike at Patna’s Gandhi Maidan, was detained by the Bihar Police in the early hours of Monday.
According to officials, he was taken to AIIMS in an ambulance, however, he has refused treatment and will continue his fast.
A team of police officials reached the site of protest early in the morning and were seen attempting to remove him from the spot. Kishor was held by the police personnel who evacuated the protest site.
